Posters architecture

Façades, arches, staircases, volumes: posters where construction is the subject, not the backdrop.

Choosing the right poster

Architecture produces strongly structured images, made of straight lines and regular rhythms. That's exactly what a room furnished with curves and textiles lacks, which is why these posters work particularly well in a living room or an entryway that feels a bit soft.

They do, however, need to be hung straight and at eye level. A nature photograph tolerates a slight tilt; a façade does not, its lines give it away immediately. The centre of the image sits at 145 cm from the floor, the eye height of a standing adult.

Large formats serve this subject particularly well: in 50x70 or 70x100, the details of stone and window become legible, while a 21x30 reduces them to texture. Our prints are made to order, one poster at a time.
