Posters formula 1
Formula 1 as seen by our artists: the single-seater leaning into the corner. Each poster is a personal reading of movement, hand-printed on 270 gsm photo paper with a semi-matte finish in our workshop in Fayence.
Choosing your Formula 1 poster
Which F1 poster should you choose?
Formula 1 comes in several registers, from the vintage grand prix poster to the driver portrait:
- Vintage F1 poster: period grand prix advertising, old-style lettering, a fuel-and-speed palette.
- F1 circuit poster: the track layout, named corners, Monaco, Spa or Silverstone.
- Driver poster: a portrait of Ayrton Senna, Max Verstappen or Pierre Gasly, helmet and gaze.
- F1 poster by team: Ferrari red, Red Bull blue, or Mercedes silver fleet.
- Black and white F1 poster: race photography, silver-grain texture, timeless.
- French Grand Prix poster: Paul Ricard or Magny-Cours, a piece of French motorsport history.
The filters on the left narrow things down by team, by driver and by era.
Where should you hang an F1 poster?
- Living room: a large circuit or driver-portrait format, above the sofa.
- Office: a vintage F1 poster, understated beside the screen.
- Teen's bedroom: a current driver or team, bright colours.
- Garage or workshop: a circuit poster or a black and white composition, a mechanical mood.
- Hallway: a series of circuits, same size, to tell the story of several grands prix.
Vintage F1 poster or current driver?
- Vintage captures historic grands prix, period liveries and circuits that no longer exist; it wins you over through nostalgia.
- A current driver, Max Verstappen or Pierre Gasly helmeted, anchors the poster in an ongoing season.
- On a classic wall or a desk, vintage blends better into the decor.
- For an enthusiast following a specific team, the current portrait or livery carries more colour.
Poster, print or picture: what is the difference?
All three words mean the same thing here: a printed image that you hang on the wall. We say poster because we print on photo paper, never on canvas. The same image is also available on a metal plate, in several sizes.
- With frame: black, white or light oak, assembled and ready to hang.
- Without frame: the sheet alone, to slide into the frame you already have.
