Line art as seen by our artists: a single continuous stroke, sketched faces, bodies and plants reduced to their essential line. A warm minimalism that dresses a wall without loading it. Each poster is hand-printed on 220 gsm art paper with a satin anti-glare finish in our studio in Grasse.
Choosing the right poster
Line art reduces the subject to a single, continuous line, without lifting the pencil. Faces, bodies, plants and objects become curves that the eye pieces back together.
It's the most understated style in the catalogue, and the easiest to multiply: three line art prints in the same format on a wall stay light where three colour posters would feel saturated. On a light wall, a thin black frame gives the line the edge it needs.
The fine line is what matters, and that's where the paper shows. Ours, a 220 g/m² art paper, holds fine lines without thickening them or drowning them in a sheen.
