Posters Rio de Janeiro

Reliefs, beaches and urban silhouettes give Rio de Janeiro a panorama where the city meets the sea. A Rio de Janeiro poster keeps the memory of a stay or a beloved point of view. Choose a poster that leaves room for the curves of the landscape, the light and the colors of the coast.

This collection has just opened. We are adding our first posters.

Rio de Janeiro poster: the city between reliefs and ocean

Which Rio de Janeiro poster to choose?

Rio de Janeiro offers images where the mountains, buildings and water are spread over several planes. A view of Sugar Loaf gives a recognizable relief to the composition. The beach scenes favor the curve of the shore and the sky. A neighborhood design can, on the contrary, bring the view closer to the facades and streets, for a more intimate evocation of the city.

  • Rio de Janeiro panorama poster: reliefs, coast and city make up an open image with well-defined lines.
  • Copacabana poster: beach and horizon give a maritime reading, linked to the memory of a walk by the water.
  • Vintage Rio poster: stylized silhouettes and chosen colors reflect the graphics of travel posters.
  • Illustration map of Rio: neighborhoods and shores form a more graphic geographical marker than the panorama.

Filters allow you to adjust the presence of blues, greens and warm tones in the image.

Where to hang a view of Rio?

Above a low piece of furniture, a panorama gives space to a living room. A clear entryway can accommodate a more colorful beach scene. In an office, a map or drawing of a neighborhood remains easy to look at closely. Tip: leave a margin around the reliefs if their dark silhouette already occupies a large part of the poster.

Coping with the curves of the coast

Rio's graphic identity is largely due to the dialogue between the reliefs and the lines of the shore. Choose a framing where these shapes remain distinct. For a duo, a large view can accompany a neighborhood detail, with the same light and similar frames. The decoration then maintains a link with the city without repeating almost exactly the same scene.

Poster, print or picture: what is the difference?

All three words mean the same thing here: a printed image that you hang on the wall. We say poster because we print on photo paper, never on canvas. The same image is also available on a metal plate, in several sizes.

  • With frame: black, white or light oak, assembled and ready to hang.
  • Without frame: the sheet alone, to slide into the frame you already have.
