Posters tulip
A supple stem and a simple bloom give the tulip graphic elegance. Our posters explore single flowers, bouquets and their colours in personal compositions, printed to order on 270 gsm semi-matte photo paper in our workshop in Fayence.
Choosing your tulip poster
Which tulip poster should you choose?
Tulip wall art can be very pared-back or rich in colour. The flexibility of the stem and the shape of the bloom allow simple pictures without losing the flower’s character.
- Tulip line-art poster: a few curves describe the flower and its leaves against an open background.
- Tulip bouquet print: leaning stems create natural movement, freer than a regular line-up.
- Colourful tulip wall art: bold blooms become the main accents of the wall composition.
- Botanical tulip poster: a more descriptive approach relates the flower, stem and leaves.
The filters on the left help you choose palette, style and mood.
Where should you hang a tulip poster?
A simple drawing complements a study or bedroom in light colours. A more colourful bouquet can enliven a dining corner or the wall above a sideboard. In an entrance, a single flower brings a clear subject without requiring much space. Vertical compositions particularly suit pictures where the stem takes up a substantial part of the drawing.
Tip: leave a margin around a line-art tulip. The empty background contributes to its lightness and should not disappear among objects placed too close.
The line of the stem or the colour of the flower?
A leaning tulip brings movement even in a very limited palette. A red, yellow or pink bloom draws the eye more through colour. For a pair, you can keep the same graphic treatment and vary the shades, or retain one colour with two different framings. This continuity helps create coherent floral decoration without requiring identical flowers in every frame.
Poster, print or picture: what is the difference?
All three words mean the same thing here: a printed image that you hang on the wall. We say poster because we print on photo paper, never on canvas. The same image is also available on a metal plate, in several sizes.
- With frame: black, white or light oak, assembled and ready to hang.
- Without frame: the sheet alone, to slide into the frame you already have.
