Choosing the right poster
Vintage works particularly well in the kitchen because that is the room where people most readily accept an image that tells a story. An old advertisement, a tin label, a fruit chart: the subject belongs to the place.
The warm colours of this style go with wood and tile, and hold up under the yellow lighting most kitchens have in the evening. A vintage poster keeps its tones there, whereas a very cool image looks dull.
The 30x40 is the most ordered format for a kitchen, often in a set of two or three across a bare stretch of wall. Our prints are M1 certified, rated fire resistant, a point that matters in a room where people cook.
