Posters coffee

Coffee as seen by our artists: italian coffee makers, sun-drenched terraces and cups set on the table. Each poster is a personal reading of the still life, hand-printed on 270 gsm semi-matte photo paper in our workshop in Fayence.

Choosing your coffee poster

Which coffee poster should you choose?

Coffee covers several distinct registers, from the old-fashioned bistro to the most pared-back photograph:

  • Vintage coffee poster: old advertising print, lettering and sepia palette.
  • Coffee shop or coffee bar poster: neon, counter, urban atmosphere.
  • Cup and coffee bean close-up: still life, escaping steam, raw texture.
  • Coffee corner or coffee break poster: cosy register, steaming mug, calm atmosphere.
  • Nespresso or Lavazza-style advertising poster: capsules, logo, advertising aesthetic.
  • Parisian café or brasserie poster: terrace, shopfront, Café de Flore atmosphere.

The filters on the left narrow things down by dominant colour, by style and by atmosphere.

Where should you hang a coffee poster?

  • Kitchen: a coffee bean or a steaming mug, above the worktop.
  • Dining room: a vintage coffee advertising print, for a bistro atmosphere.
  • Office: a coffee shop poster, understated beside the screen.
  • Living room: a large coffee advertising format, above the sideboard.
  • Breakfast corner: a Parisian brasserie scene, terrace or shopfront.

Retro or contemporary coffee poster?

The vintage advertising print brings back the spirit of cafés of old: period lettering, sepia palette, an advertising register worn openly. The contemporary version chooses a pared-back photograph or a graphic framing, closer to today's decor. On a wall already busy with tiles or exposed wood, a pared-back poster calms the whole. In a plain kitchen, a vintage coffee advertising print brings the character that is missing.

Poster, print or picture: what is the difference?

All three words mean the same thing here: a printed image that you hang on the wall. We say poster because we print on photo paper, not on canvas or metal.

  • With frame: black, white, oak or walnut, assembled and ready to hang.
  • Without frame: the sheet alone, to slide into the frame you already have.
