Deauville Posters
Deauville brings to mind the boardwalk, the beach and its colourful parasols, the row of bathing huts and the villas along the promenade. Between the sea and Normandy architecture, every Deauville poster captures a precisely chosen atmosphere, printed to order in our workshop in Fayence, on 270g semi-matte photo paper.
This collection has just opened. We are adding our first posters.
Deauville Poster: The Normandy Resort Between Sea and Villas
Which Deauville poster should you choose?
Deauville lends itself to several styles. Some compositions focus on the sea, sand and parasols, while others highlight the villas and the promenade's character. It's best to define the mood you're after before browsing the collection. A few ideas to guide your choice.
- Deauville boardwalk poster
- Parasols and beach huts poster
- Villas and promenade poster
- Minimalist Normandy beach poster
- Graphic Deauville poster
The filters on the left let you refine format, colour and orientation, to find the look that suits your interior.
Where to hang a Deauville poster?
The poster's format depends on the room. A few guidelines by space.
- Living room, a 50x70 or 70x100 piece to anchor a wall, alone or paired with a second format
- Bedroom, a 30x40 above a dresser or at the head of the bed
- Entryway or hallway, a vertical 21x30 format, on its own or in a small series
- Office, an architectural view for a daily reminder of the coast
Tip: in a room already rich in colour, choose a poster with muted tones so the Normandy motif can breathe rather than compete with the wall's palette.
Sea or architecture, which approach for Deauville?
All that remains is to choose between the sea horizon, the boardwalk and parasols, or the villas and promenade that define the town's seaside character. The first approach brings light and air to a room, the second creates a more structured, almost timeless setting. A 100x140 polyptych, which spreads a single image across four panels, suits a wide wall for a large-format Deauville motif, without multiplying subjects on the same wall.
Poster, print or picture: what is the difference?
All three words mean the same thing here: a printed image that you hang on the wall. We say poster because we print on photo paper, never on canvas. The same image is also available on a metal plate, in several sizes.
- With frame: black, white or light oak, assembled and ready to hang.
- Without frame: the sheet alone, to slide into the frame you already have.
