Fruit as seen by our artists: baskets, markets, mangoes and colourful still lifes. Each poster is a personal reading of visual abundance, hand-printed on 270 gsm photo paper with a semi-matte finish in our workshop in Fayence.

Choosing your fruit poster

Which fruit poster should you choose?

  • Lemon poster: lemon trees, slices, frank yellow, a kitchen classic.
  • Seasonal fruit and vegetables: a calendar or plate that follows the months, from spring to winter.
  • Apple, pear, cherry, strawberry poster: the fruit alone, in close-up or as botany.
  • Citrus poster: lemon, orange, grapefruit, for a vivid palette.
  • Botanical plate of fruit: a section, a leaf, a stem, in the manner of an old herbarium.
  • Vegetable poster: kitchen garden, roots, early produce, to complete a kitchen wall.

The filters on the left narrow things down by dominant colour, by style and by mood.

Where should you hang a fruit and vegetable poster?

  • Kitchen: the seasonal fruit and vegetable find their place there naturally.
  • Dining room: a series of fruit, identical size, aligned above the sideboard.
  • Living room: a vintage lemon or a botanical plate, as an accent of colour.
  • Entrance: an apple or cherry poster, small size, near the coat rack.
  • Office: a graphic citrus, which brings colour without loading the wall.

Tip: seasonal fruit and vegetable posters make fine wall series when several months hang together.

Vintage poster or botanical plate?

  • The vintage poster takes up the codes of old advertising: flat colour, lettering, emphatic yellow and red.
  • The botanical plate stays in line and watercolour, closer to the herbarium than to the advertisement.
  • In a kitchen the two registers live together well if the size stays the same from one piece to the next.
  • We print each poster on 270 g photo paper with a semi-matte finish, from 21x30 to 70x100, up to the 100x140 polyptych for a kitchen wall in a large size.

Poster, print or picture: what is the difference?

All three words mean the same thing here: a printed image that you hang on the wall. We say poster because we print on photo paper, never on canvas. The same image is also available on a metal plate, in several sizes.

  • With frame: black, white or light oak, assembled and ready to hang.
  • Without frame: the sheet alone, to slide into the frame you already have.
