Posters geometric

Geometric as seen by our artists: the perfect circle, the sharp triangle and the line drawn with a compass. Each poster is a personal reading of this graphic language, hand-printed on 220 gsm art paper with a semi-matte finish in our workshop in Fayence.

Choosing your geometric poster

Which geometric poster should you choose?

  • Geometric abstract art poster: flat colour fields, non-figurative composition, balance of shapes.
  • Geometric shape poster: circles, triangles and lines assembled into a repeated pattern.
  • Scandinavian geometric poster: soft palette, simple shapes, Nordic minimalist spirit.
  • Bauhaus geometric pattern poster: primary colours, clean lines, modernist heritage.
  • Monochrome geometric poster: black and white, sharp contrast, strong graphic effect.
  • Gradient geometric shape poster: colours that blend from one shape into the next.

The filters on the left narrow things down by dominant colour, by style and by mood.

Where should you hang a geometric poster?

  • Living room: a large graphic format above the sofa, as a focal point.
  • Office: a sober geometric composition, next to the screen, so as not to overload the space.
  • Bedroom: a Scandinavian palette and soft shapes above the bed.
  • Entrance: a contrasted black-and-white pattern, to set the tone from the threshold.
  • Dining room: a series of two or three identical sizes, aligned above the table.

A single geometric poster or a series?

  • A large format stands on its own on a wall that needs a focal point.
  • A series of two or three posters in the same colours but with different motifs structures a wider wall without overloading it.
  • A horizontal alignment works better than a staggered hang; the geometry of the subject calls for geometry in the way it is hung.
  • On a wall already crowded with furniture, a single poster in a vertical format stays more legible than a series.

We print every geometric poster on 270 g photo paper with a semi-matte finish, in sizes 21x30, 30x40, 50x70, 70x100, and as a 101x141 polyptych.

Poster, print or picture: what is the difference?

All three words mean the same thing here: a printed image that you hang on the wall. We say poster because we print on photo paper, not on canvas or metal.

  • With frame: black, white, oak or walnut, assembled and ready to hang.
  • Without frame: the sheet alone, to slide into the frame you already have.
