Glasgow poster: which size should you choose?
21x30 and 30x40 suit a map or a building portrait, standing alone on an office or hallway wall. 50x70 carries a skyline or a street art mural without losing detail. 70x100 makes a statement above a sofa or a bed, in a living room with room to spare. For a panorama of the city, from the river Clyde to the hills around it, the 100x140 polyptych spreads the image across several frames and covers a large wall.
Poster, print or picture: what is the difference?
All three words mean the same thing here: a printed image that you hang on the wall. We say poster because we print on photo paper, never on canvas. The same image is also available on a metal plate, in several sizes.
- With frame: black, white or light oak, assembled and ready to hang.
- Without frame: the sheet alone, to slide into the frame you already have.
