Posters hedgehog
Hedgehog as seen by our artists: the pencil-drawn quills and the curious muzzles. Each poster is a personal reading of the animal world, hand-printed on 270 gsm photo paper with a semi-matte finish in our workshop in Fayence.
Choosing your hedgehog poster
Which hedgehog poster should you choose?
The hedgehog comes in several distinct styles:
- Hedgehog line drawing poster: fine line, a pared-down silhouette, the most searched-for style.
- Watercolour hedgehog illustration: soft outlines, pastel palette, a hand-painted effect.
- Realistic hedgehog poster: detailed spines, precise naturalistic rendering.
- Forest animals poster: the hedgehog alongside the fox, the hare or the owl, a woodland style.
- Minimalist hedgehog poster: simplified geometric shape, one or two colours.
The filters on the left narrow things down by dominant colour, by style and by mood.
Where should you hang a hedgehog poster?
- Children's room: a hedgehog drawing or illustration, soft colours, above the bed.
- Living room: a large-size forest animals poster, paired with other naturalist subjects.
- Office: a minimalist hedgehog, a plain size next to the screen.
- Entrance: a small hedgehog poster for a natural touch right from the doorway.
- Hallway: a series of forest animals, in the same size and the same style.
Realistic or illustrated hedgehog poster?
The realistic rendering captures the fur and the spines, a more naturalistic choice that suits a living room or an office. The illustration simplifies the silhouette and fits a children's room better. On an already busy wall, a minimalist version in flat colour blends in more easily than a detailed rendering. For a plain room, the black and white line drawing pairs with more styles than a very colourful version.
Poster, print or picture: what is the difference?
All three words mean the same thing here: a printed image that you hang on the wall. We say poster because we print on photo paper, never on canvas. The same image is also available on a metal plate, in several sizes.
- With frame: black, white or light oak, assembled and ready to hang.
- Without frame: the sheet alone, to slide into the frame you already have.
