Choosing your Poodle poster

Which poodle poster should you choose?

The poodle comes in several graphic registers, carried by very different styles:

  • Minimalist poodle poster: continuous line, pared-down silhouette, understated format.
  • Watercolour poodle portrait: curly coat rendered in soft gradients, expressive gaze.
  • Pop art poodle poster: bright colours, flat blocks of colour, graphic spirit.
  • Poodle in vintage engraving style: fine line, sepia palette, period style.
  • Black and white poodle print: strong contrast, photographic or drawn rendering.
  • Standard poodle, full length: slender silhouette, classic clip, vertical format.

Where should you hang a poodle poster?

  • Living room: a large-format poodle portrait, above the sofa or the sideboard.
  • Entrance: a minimalist silhouette, to welcome without crowding the wall.
  • Bedroom: a watercolour poodle, in soft tones.
  • Office: a black and white poodle poster, understated beside the screen.

Poodle poster in colour or in black and white?

Black and white brings out the texture of the curly coat and suits most interiors, from the most classical to the most contemporary. Colour captures the variety of the poodle's coats: apricot, black, white, grey. On a wall already busy with colour, black and white calms the room. On a neutral wall, a colourful poodle poster becomes the focal point of the wall decor.

Poster, print or picture: what is the difference?

All three words mean the same thing here: a printed image that you hang on the wall. We say poster because we print on photo paper, never on canvas. The same image is also available on a metal plate, in several sizes.

  • With frame: black, white or light oak, assembled and ready to hang.
  • Without frame: the sheet alone, to slide into the frame you already have.
