Posters drums
Drums, cymbals and drumsticks give a drum kit a musical silhouette rich in shapes. A drum poster can focus on the instrument or capture a drummer in motion. Choose an illustration that keeps the visual rhythm of circles and diagonals, bringing a musical presence to your wall decor.
This collection has just opened. We are adding our first posters.
Drum kit poster: the shapes and rhythm of a musical instrument
Which drum kit poster should you choose?
A drum kit brings together circles, stands and surfaces that translate naturally into a graphic composition. A view of the complete instrument shows its arrangement; a close-up of cymbals or drumsticks brings more movement. An illustration of a drummer adds a human figure and a stage setting. Line drawings can preserve plenty of energy with very little colour.
- Drum kit poster: drums and cymbals come together in an illustration focused on the shape of the instrument.
- Drummer poster: gestures and posture create a more narrative image linked to playing music.
- Minimalist drum illustration: a few outlines and an uncluttered background highlight circles and diagonals.
- Vintage drum poster: a carefully chosen palette and stylised shapes evoke the graphic world of music.
Use the style filters to choose between a detailed drawing and a more expressive silhouette.
Where should you hang a drum poster?
A study or a space devoted to music naturally suits an illustration of an instrument. In a bedroom, a simple drawing can accompany a listening corner. A living room suits a more graphic composition with stronger contrasts. Tip: leave clear space around the cymbals if the image is detailed, so their outlines remain easy to read from a distance.
Turn musical rhythm into lines
A drum poster does not need to show a whole concert. The movement of a drumstick or the balance of the drums can carry the composition. For a pair of musical illustrations, combine the drum kit with a guitar or piano drawn at a similar scale and with matching margins. Their different shapes create a shared rhythm without adding too many colours or details.
Poster, print or picture: what is the difference?
All three words mean the same thing here: a printed image that you hang on the wall. We say poster because we print on photo paper, never on canvas. The same image is also available on a metal plate, in several sizes.
- With frame: black, white or light oak, assembled and ready to hang.
- Without frame: the sheet alone, to slide into the frame you already have.
