Posters Sri Lanka
Tea plantations, tropical coasts and hills give Sri Lanka landscapes of deep colors. A Sri Lanka poster keeps the memory of a journey between sea and mountains, or the desire for a distant horizon. Choose a poster that evokes a specific place and brings natural light to your interior.
This collection has just opened. We are adding our first posters.
Poster Sri Lanka: hills and shores of the island
Which Sri Lanka poster to choose?
Sri Lanka is told on several landscape scales. A view of tea plantations highlights the slopes and lines of vegetation; a coastal scene leaves more room for the sky. The architecture and train journeys provide a more narrative subject. A map of the island connects these stages when the memory of the trip is first of all that of a journey.
- Tea plantation poster: hills and plant lines create a calm composition, dominated by greens.
- Sri Lanka beach poster: palm trees, sand and sea give a tropical breath to the decoration.
- Train illustration in Sri Lanka: a track and a landscape depict the movement of a journey across the island.
- Vintage Sri Lanka poster: stylized colors and readable scene take up the language of tourist posters.
Color filters help bring greens, blues or earth tones closer to the furniture.
Where to hang a Sri Lankan landscape?
A bright living room welcomes a scene of hills or coastline above a low piece of furniture. In a bedroom, plantings offer regular lines and a relaxing palette. A desk lends itself to a map or a train scene. Tip: Choose a restrained frame for views rich in foliage, to keep the different planes of the landscape distinct.
Connecting the sea and the heights
A series of two posters can evoke the passage between the coast and the hills of the interior. The subjects do not need to be identical if their light and format remain similar. Look for a common line or color, then let each place keep its uniqueness. The wall thus tells the story of a journey rather than a uniform tropical decor.
Poster, print or picture: what is the difference?
All three words mean the same thing here: a printed image that you hang on the wall. We say poster because we print on photo paper, never on canvas. The same image is also available on a metal plate, in several sizes.
- With frame: black, white or light oak, assembled and ready to hang.
- Without frame: the sheet alone, to slide into the frame you already have.
