Posters waterfall
Moving water, rocks and vegetation give the waterfalls a landscape composition full of lines. A waterfall poster can show a large waterfall or a more intimate scene among the trees. Choose a poster that brings water light and natural depth to the wall suited to your interior.
Waterfall poster: moving water in the landscape
Which poster to choose?
A waterfall can occupy the entire height of the image or remain an element in a larger landscape. Vertical framing emphasizes the waterfall, while an open view shows more of the rocks and vegetation. A graphic illustration simplifies the movement; a more detailed drawing reveals the textures of the terrain. Look at the place of the sky and the background to choose a dense or lighter composition.
- Forest waterfall poster: water, foliage and rocks create several shots in a well-structured plant scene.
- Large waterfall poster: the fall becomes the main line of the image and gives a strong presence to the wall.
- Minimalist waterfall illustration: a few rock and water shapes retain movement with a restricted palette.
- Mountain waterfall poster: reliefs and water interact in a more mineral and open composition.
Filters allow you to adjust greens, blues and contrasts between water and rocks.
Where to place a waterfall poster?
A bedroom can accommodate a water scene in soft colors, with few high-contrast details. In a living room, a wider view brings a sense of depth. A desk lends itself to line drawing or a limited palette. Tip: a simple frame lets the movement of the water guide the eye without adding a pattern around the landscape.
Give space to movement
The interest of a waterfall lies in the contrast between the moving water and the stable shapes of the land. A poster benefits from maintaining this relationship rather than multiplying the effects. For a natural duo, bring it closer to a river or a forest landscape, with a comparable density of detail. The two images can thus share an atmosphere without becoming almost identical.
Poster, print or picture: what is the difference?
All three words mean the same thing here: a printed image that you hang on the wall. We say poster because we print on photo paper, never on canvas. The same image is also available on a metal plate, in several sizes.
- With frame: black, white or light oak, assembled and ready to hang.
- Without frame: the sheet alone, to slide into the frame you already have.
