Choosing your Spain football poster
Which Spanish football poster should you choose?
Spanish football comes in several registers for your football wall decor:
- Real Madrid poster: the white shirt, the crest, the club's emblematic players.
- FC Barcelona poster: garnet and blue, the Camp Nou, a Catalan spirit.
- La Liga poster: the table, the stadiums, the mood of a championship.
- Player portrait: a piece of technique, a celebration, a focused gaze.
- Stadium poster: full stands, the pitch, the fervour of a match evening.
- Retro style: period shirts and posters, vintage lettering.
The filters on the left narrow things down by club, by dominant colour and by style.
Where should you hang a Spanish football poster?
- Bedroom: a Real Madrid or FC Barcelona poster above the bed, for a real football bedroom.
- Living room: a player portrait in a large size, close to the sofa.
- Office: a stadium poster, restrained, at eye level.
- Games room: several sizes mixed, a collector's spirit.
- Hallway: a series of posters of the same club, aligned in the same size.
Tip: the vivid colours of a shirt come out better on a pale wall, which does not smother them.
Real Madrid or FC Barcelona?
- Real Madrid's white agrees with almost every wall, from the most neutral to the most colourful.
- FC Barcelona's garnet and blue calls for a more restrained wall so as not to saturate the room.
- For a child's room supporting both, two identical sizes side by side avoid having to choose.
- The 30x40 suits a player portrait, the 50x70 shows a stadium scene to better advantage.
Poster, print or picture: what is the difference?
All three words mean the same thing here: a printed image that you hang on the wall. We say poster because we print on photo paper, never on canvas. The same image is also available on a metal plate, in several sizes.
- With frame: black, white or light oak, assembled and ready to hang.
- Without frame: the sheet alone, to slide into the frame you already have.
