Custom Photo Poster

Turning a photo into an art poster isn't just about enlarging it. It's about checking it holds up at size, cropping it to the print format, and seeing the exact result before you order. Here's how it works with us, and what you need to know about your file.

Does your photo hold up at this size?

It's the only question that really matters, and most sites never ask it. An image 1,200 pixels wide makes a beautiful 21x30. The same file blown up to 70x100 turns blurry, and you'll see it from a meter away on the wall.

We upscale the file when it's possible, and we decline the print when it isn't. A resolution check runs before production: if the definition isn't enough for the chosen size, the configurator suggests the next size down instead of letting a disappointing poster go out. You'll never receive a blurry print because no one checked.

In practice, a photo taken with a recent phone easily holds up to 50x70. A screenshot or an image pulled from a messaging app often doesn't.

Cropping, and what you approve

A photo almost never has the same ratio as a poster. The configurator shows you the real crop: you move the image, choose what stays in and what's cut out, and the preview shows exactly what will be printed, white margin included.

This point deserves to be said clearly: what you approve on screen is what gets printed. No intermediate adjustment, no automatic recropping after you order, no surprise when you open the package.

Sizes and prices

• 21x30 cm, from €12.40. A desk, a shelf, a series of several photos.
• 30x40 cm, from €16.90. The most ordered size for a single photo.
• 50x70 cm, from €24.20. A photo that becomes the wall's focal point.
• 70x100 cm, from €35.20. Needs a generous file, and the check makes sure of it.

The frame is optional, from €20 to €79 depending on size, in white, black, or light oak.

The paper, and where it's printed

220 g/m² art paper with a satin, anti-glare finish, M1 certified, eco-solvent inks. Everything is printed to order in our workshop near Grasse, one poster at a time. A family photo on this paper looks nothing like a standard photo print: the material absorbs light instead of reflecting it, and the image holds up whether you view it straight on or at an angle.

Creating your photo poster

Open the configurator, upload your photo, choose the size, approve the preview. Nothing is charged before this approval.
