A stem rises from the bottom of the frame and divides into large oval leaves that open on either side until they fill the whole surface. Each is painted in watercolour in a single pass, so that where two leaves cross the colour doubles and darkens, and where they part the paper stays almost white. The edges are irregular, the water has left its darker rims there. The whole range holds in terracotta, from the most diluted to the densest.

Printed to order in our workshop near Grasse, in the south of France, on 220 gsm art paper with an anti-glare satin finish, M1 certified (rated fire-resistant, approved for public venues). Pigment inks. Available in 21×30, 30×40, 50×70 and 70×100 cm, on its own or with its frame.

The preview faithfully shows the artwork and crop of your print. Our pigment inks do not fade, and the anti-glare satin finish limits reflections : close to what you see on screen.

What paper do you use?

How soon will I receive my order?
