Posters graphic

Graphic as seen by our artists: flat colour fields, bold geometry and the continuous line. Each poster is a personal reading of this graphic language, hand-printed on 270 gsm semi-matte photo paper in our workshop in Fayence.

Choosing your graphic poster

Which graphic design poster should you choose?

Graphic design covers quite distinct registers, and the search volume shows which ones matter:

  • Black and white graphic poster: clean composition, typography and geometric shapes, no colour to hold the attention.
  • Vintage graphic poster: codes of the 1950s to 1970s, flat colours and period lettering.
  • Scandinavian graphic poster: simple lines, a muted palette, abstract shapes.
  • Graphic designer poster: a signed composition, close to an exhibition poster.
  • Graphic film poster: a reinterpretation of a cinema poster in a clean style.
  • Graphic city poster: an urban silhouette reduced to its lines and flat colours.

The filters on the left narrow things down by dominant colour, by style and by size.

Where should you hang a graphic design poster?

  • Living room: a large graphic format in black and white, alone above the sofa.
  • Office: a sober geometric composition, to structure the eye without cluttering the wall.
  • Entrance: a graphic city poster, to set the tone right from the threshold.
  • Dining room: a vintage graphic poster, echoing a table that already has character.
  • Hallway: a series of several graphic posters in the same size, for a collection effect.

Graphic design poster: solo or as a series?

A single graphic poster, in a large size, works as a focal point on a wall that already has furniture. A series of several identical sizes, aligned or staggered, suits a bare wall that needs rhythm better. For an interior already loaded with colour, the black and white of graphic design calms the whole; for a neutral wall, a coloured graphic poster carries further.

Poster, print or picture: what is the difference?

All three words mean the same thing here: a printed image that you hang on the wall. We say poster because we print on photo paper, not on canvas or metal.

  • With frame: black, white, oak or walnut, assembled and ready to hang.
  • Without frame: the sheet alone, to slide into the frame you already have.
