Posters bridge
The bridge inspires varied compositions: stone arches, cables of a suspension bridge, the light structure of a footbridge or shimmering reflections on the water at dusk. A bridge poster brings a strong line to the wall, between architecture and landscape, in a living room, an office or an entryway.
How to choose your bridge poster
Which bridge poster to choose?
The bridge comes in several registers, from the most architectural to the most intimate, between structure and landscape:
- Suspension bridge poster: taut cables, airy silhouette, metal structure in a graphic line.
- Arch bridge: stone or brick, repeated curves, an ancient and architectural register.
- Pedestrian footbridge: wood or steel, a more intimate scale, often in a forest or along a canal.
- Bridge and reflections on the water: vertical symmetry, calm atmosphere, for a bridge print at dusk or dawn.
- Urban bridge at night: lighting, city lights, dark silhouette against a coloured sky.
- Railway bridge: industrial structure, straight lines, a rawer register, also found in a modern urban bridge version.
The filters on the left narrow down by colour, by style and by room.
Where to hang a bridge poster?
- Living room: a wide format above the sofa, suspension bridge or arch bridge.
- Office: a graphic structure in black and white, understated near the screen.
- Bedroom: a bridge and its reflections, in soft tones.
- Hallway: a series of footbridges or bridges, in the same format.
- Entryway: an urban bridge at night, to mark the threshold.
Bridge poster in colour or in black and white?
- Black and white highlights the structure: cables, arches, lines of the framework.
- Colour captures the time of day: golden sky at sunset, deep blue at night.
- On an already busy wall, black and white calms the composition.
- A vertical bridge poster suits a view taken from the deck; a horizontal format better serves an overall view with its arches.
Poster, print or canvas: what's the difference?
The three words describe the same thing here: a printed image that you hang on the wall. We call it a poster because we print on photo paper, never on canvas. The same image is also available on a metal panel, in several sizes.
- With frame: black, white or light oak, mounted and ready to hang.
- Without frame: the sheet alone, to slide into a frame you already have.
