Which heron poster to choose?

The heron comes in several distinct styles, from clean silhouette to marshland scene:

Heron or crane: what's the difference on a poster?

The heron folds its neck into an S both at rest and in flight, while the crane flies with its neck outstretched: this detail changes the silhouette and the movement given to the wall. The heron is also found close to water, in marshes and reeds, rather than in open spaces. A single heron, with no other bird in the frame, keeps this name even in a wide shot: the scene remains identifiable by the shape of the beak and neck, not by the number of birds present. Check the bird's posture before choosing.

Poster, print or artwork: what's the difference?

The three words describe the same thing here: a printed image you hang on the wall. We call it a poster because we print on photo paper, never on canvas. The same image is also available on a metal plate, in several sizes.
