Posters Saint-Jean-de-Luz
The harbour, bay and Basque houses give Saint-Jean-de-Luz its lines and colours. Our posters interpret this meeting of town and ocean in personal images, printed to order on 270 gsm semi-matte photo paper in our workshop in Fayence.
This collection has just opened. We are adding our first posters.
Choosing your Saint-Jean-de-Luz poster
Which Saint-Jean-de-Luz poster should you choose?
A Saint-Jean-de-Luz poster can capture a façade, a walk around the harbour or the openness of the bay. The contrast between architecture and water gives each approach its character.
- Saint-Jean-de-Luz harbour poster: boats and houses create a colourful scene with several layers to explore.
- Saint-Jean-de-Luz bay print: a curved beach and a sea horizon make a more open picture.
- Basque house wall art: timber framing and shutters highlight the rhythm of the façades and their colours.
- Vintage Saint-Jean-de-Luz poster: simplified shapes tell the story of the destination in the graphic language of travel.
Choose your palette, style and mood using the filters on the left.
Where should you hang a Saint-Jean-de-Luz poster?
A harbour scene enlivens a dining corner or living room. In an entrance, a Basque façade makes a warm landmark, particularly with a wooden frame. The bay suits a bedroom in light colours, while a more contrasting architectural drawing belongs comfortably in a study. A series of Basque destinations can run along a corridor without requiring one large picture.
Tip: echo Basque red in small touches. A poster already featuring it does not need an entire wall in the same colour.
The bay, harbour or Basque façades?
The bay favours curves and a quiet horizon. The harbour multiplies the vertical rhythms of masts; façades introduce more regular geometry. These three interpretations can complement one another, but two are often enough for a pair. Keep a comparable colour intensity so that each picture contributes to the arrangement without overpowering its neighbour.
Poster, print or picture: what is the difference?
All three words mean the same thing here: a printed image that you hang on the wall. We say poster because we print on photo paper, never on canvas. The same image is also available on a metal plate, in several sizes.
- With frame: black, white or light oak, assembled and ready to hang.
- Without frame: the sheet alone, to slide into the frame you already have.
