Posters Sydney

Bay, architectural sails and bridge lines give Sydney a very recognizable urban panorama. A Sydney poster extends the memory of an Australian stay or evokes a view facing the water. Choose a poster that keeps the balance between buildings, shore and sky, for a bright and open wall decoration.

This collection has just opened. We are adding our first posters.

Poster Sydney: architecture and light of the bay

Which Sydney poster to choose?

Sydney can be told through a bay panorama or an architectural detail. A view of the Opera favors its curves and clear volumes; a scene of the Harbor Bridge gives more marked lines. Beach landscapes open the image onto the coast. A map connects these places when your memory of the trip is more about several stops than a single scene.

  • Sydney Opera House poster: architectural shapes and water compose an image centered on a clearly recognizable silhouette.
  • Poster Harbor Bridge: bridge and city skyline give an urban perspective with more assertive lines.
  • Sydney beach poster: sand, sea and sky create a more open and calm Australian landscape.
  • Vintage Sydney poster: a stylized travel scene, with a chosen palette and simplified shapes.

The color filters bring together the blues of the bay and the tones of the buildings and the furniture.

Where to hang a poster of Sydney?

A bright living room easily accommodates a bay view above a base cabinet. In an entryway, a silhouette of the Opera House can provide a clear focal point. A desk lends itself to a map or line architecture. Tip: keep some background around the large shapes of the monument, so that their design does not appear compressed in the frame.

Bringing city and shore into dialogue

The presence of water changes the balance of a Sydney poster. A large bay gives air to the architecture; a closer view makes the lines of the buildings more prominent. For two images, combine an urban detail with a coastal scene with compatible lighting. Similar frames and margins then give simple unity to the chosen points of view.

Poster, print or picture: what is the difference?

All three words mean the same thing here: a printed image that you hang on the wall. We say poster because we print on photo paper, never on canvas. The same image is also available on a metal plate, in several sizes.

  • With frame: black, white or light oak, assembled and ready to hang.
  • Without frame: the sheet alone, to slide into the frame you already have.
