Branches in green thread

An interlacing of olive branches covers the whole surface, drawn in outline alone, with no fill at all. The deep green line keeps a constant weight and runs without a break: it climbs in sinuous branches, divides, carries lance-shaped leaves set in pairs, and leaves here and there a pair of olives drawn as a single oval. The ivory ground stays entirely bare, so the motif reads as a continuous weave rather than as a tree.
