Biarritz Posters
Biarritz captivates with its Grande Plage, the Rocher de la Vierge and the lighthouse watching over the Basque coast. A Biarritz poster can play on the waves, surfing or the seafront facades. Printed to order in our workshop in Fayence, on 270 gsm semi-matte photo paper.
This collection has just opened. We are adding our first posters.
Biarritz poster: the Basque coast as wall decor
Which Biarritz poster to choose
Biarritz lends itself to several styles, depending on the mood you want for your interior. Here are a few directions to help guide your choice:
- A graphic, clean-lined rendering, playing on the lines of the Rocher de la Vierge and the lighthouse.
- A composition centred on the Grande Plage and its open horizon, in blue and sandy tones.
- An evocation of surfing and waves, for a more dynamic feel.
- A framing on the seafront facades, between Belle Époque villas and colourful shopfronts.
- A black-and-white treatment, more timeless, which suits both antique and modern furniture.
Colour and style filters let you refine your choice further.
Where to hang a Biarritz poster
This poster fits well in several rooms of the home:
- In the living room, above a sofa, to create a lasting sea view.
- In an entrance hall, in a small format, as a first hint of the home's style.
- In a bedroom, paired with sandy or navy tones to extend the coastal mood.
- In a hallway, a 100x140 polyptych unfolds the same view of the Basque coast across four panels.
Tip: hang the poster at eye level, about 150 cm from the floor to the centre of the frame, for a natural look right from the entrance.
Grande Plage or Rocher de la Vierge
Should you favour the Grande Plage, with its sea bathing and open horizon, or the Rocher de la Vierge, with its sculptural silhouette? The former evokes space and light, the latter the shape of the coastline.
In an already bright interior, a framing on the rock adds depth. In a more intimate room, the Grande Plage visually widens the space. The choice mainly depends on the mood you're after, between calm and character.
Poster, print or picture: what is the difference?
All three words mean the same thing here: a printed image that you hang on the wall. We say poster because we print on photo paper, never on canvas. The same image is also available on a metal plate, in several sizes.
- With frame: black, white or light oak, assembled and ready to hang.
- Without frame: the sheet alone, to slide into the frame you already have.
