Portugal comes through here in several registers: Lisbon's tram and miradouros, Porto's Ribeira and its orange rooftops over the Douro, the Algarve's ochre cliffs. Treatments range from vintage travel poster to a stripped-back map of the country.

This is a country that comes alive in colour, because that's what carries its character: the azulejo, the ochre facades, the blue of the Tagus. Black and white reduces the city to its lines, rooftops, tram, stairways, and slips more easily into an already busy room.
