Which Arras poster to choose?
Arras lends itself to two distinct approaches. The square view captures the whole of an urban setting, with its aligned façades and the perspective of the arcades. The architectural detail narrows the focus onto a gable, a dormer window, or the silhouette of the belfry. Square view or architectural detail?
Should you favour a square view or an architectural detail for Arras? The square view conveys the scale of the place, useful in a living space where the poster needs to fill the wall. The detail suits a small format or, on a large wall, a polyptych: a single image spread across four panels highlights the texture of a façade. The choice mainly depends on the effect you want on the wall, expansive or concentrated.
Poster, print or picture: what is the difference?
All three words mean the same thing here: a printed image that you hang on the wall. We say poster because we print on photo paper, never on canvas. The same image is also available on a metal plate, in several sizes.
