Blue posters
Blue as seen by our artists: deep sea blues, cyanotypes, summer skies and ink-dark nights. A colour that calms and makes a room feel larger. Each poster is hand-printed on 220 gsm art paper with a satin anti-glare finish in our studio in Grasse.
Choosing the right poster
Blue is the most requested colour in our catalogue, and the widest ranging: it goes from an almost black Prussian blue to saturated ultramarine, taking in the bluish greys of winter skies along the way. This section brings them all together, seascapes, skies, graphic blocks of colour and abstract compositions.
A blue wall poster sits easily on a white or cream wall, where it adds depth without weighing the room down. On a wall that's already coloured, it's better to choose a strong blue rather than a greyed blue, which blends in and disappears.
The eco-solvent inks we use hold deep blues particularly well, colours that easily shift toward purple with ordinary inks.
