Giraffe as seen by our artists: the long neck reaching for the treetops, the spotted coat and the savanna stretching out behind. Each poster is a personal reading of the animal world, hand-printed on 220 gsm art paper with a semi-matte finish in our workshop in Fayence.

Choosing your giraffe poster

Which giraffe poster should you choose?

The giraffe comes in several distinct registers:

  • Black and white giraffe poster: graphic pattern, silhouette and coat in contrast, suits any interior.
  • Giraffe bubble poster: close-up framing, a round and soft effect, an endearing register.
  • Bubblegum giraffe poster: pink or pastel colour, a pop and offbeat tone.
  • Savannah giraffe poster: warm colours, acacias and African light.
  • Minimalist giraffe poster: clean line, a single flat colour, silhouette alone on a neutral background.
  • Watercolour giraffe poster: blurred outlines, a soft palette, a painted rendering.

Where should you hang a giraffe poster?

  • Children's room: a bubble or pastel giraffe, above the bed or the chest of drawers.

Giraffe poster in colour or in black and white?

Black and white highlights the pattern of the coat and suits a wall that is already coloured or a sober decor. Colour, bubblegum or pastel, suits a child's room better, where it brings cheerfulness. On a neutral wall, colour carries the subject further; on a busy wall, black and white calms it. Our giraffe posters are printed on 270 g photo paper with a semi-matte finish, in sizes 21x30, 30x40, 50x70, 70x100, and as a 101x141 polyptych for large walls.

Poster, print or picture: what is the difference?

All three words mean the same thing here: a printed image that you hang on the wall. We say poster because we print on photo paper, not on canvas or metal.

  • With frame: black, white, oak or walnut, assembled and ready to hang.
  • Without frame: the sheet alone, to slide into the frame you already have.
