Posters hunting

Silent forests, wild boar silhouettes and hunting scenes make up wall decor tied to landscapes and rural traditions. Discover line-art hunting posters, animal paintings and vintage compositions, to choose for a country house, an office or an entrance hall.

Choosing your hunting poster

Which hunting poster should you choose?

Compare the subject, the colours and the graphic style:

  • Hunting painting: a figurative scene linking the hunter, the dog and the landscape.
  • Wild boar poster: the animal in the undergrowth or reduced to a graphic silhouette.
  • Vintage hunting poster: earthy colours, dark forests and a drawing with an old-fashioned feel.
  • Forest poster: slender trees, clearings and paths, for a calm evocation of the countryside.
  • Hunting decor: an animal subject or a narrative scene, depending on how much space the theme gets in the room.

The filters on the left let you narrow the selection by dominant colour, style and mood.

Where to hang a hunting poster?

  • Living room: an image whose colours echo the sofa and textiles, with enough distance to read the subject.
  • Office: a clear composition next to the bookcase.
  • Entrance: a format suited to the furniture, visible from the door.
  • Bedroom: a calm register, with measured contrasts and a discreet frame.

Tip: measure the wall; for a series, keep the same line of frames.

Hunting scene or animal portrait?

A narrative scene evokes a practice: the gestures, the dogs and the terrain guide the eye. A wild boar portrait instead puts the animal at the centre and suits a decor turned towards the forest. The two registers can complement each other without piling up details. In an office, a simple silhouette leaves room for the furniture and the bookcase. In a country house, brown tones, greens and light papers match the wood. Choose the subject for its visual presence before building a series.

Poster, print or painting: what is the difference?

Here the three words mean the same thing: a printed image that you hang on the wall. We say poster because we print on photo paper, never on canvas. The same image also exists on a metal plate, in several sizes.

  • With frame: black, white or light oak, mounted and ready to hang.
  • Without frame: the sheet alone, to slip into a frame you already have.
