Which Lausanne poster should you choose?
Lausanne comes in several registers, and they do not tell the same city:
- Lausanne rooftops poster: the red tiles stepping down towards Lake Geneva.
- Lausanne cathedral poster: the Gothic facade and its tower, above the old town.
- Lake Geneva and Alps poster: the water, the sails, the mountains behind, a blue palette.

- Lausanne stairs poster: the flights of steps that link the city's levels.

Where should you hang a Lausanne poster?

Tip: a sloping city creates a strong diagonal. Hang it on its own: next to another frame the diagonal reads as crooked.

All three words mean the same thing here: a printed image that you hang on the wall. We say poster because we print on fine art paper, not on canvas or metal.

- Without frame: the sheet alone, to slide into the frame you already have.
