Which Montpellier poster should you choose?
Montpellier comes in several registers, and they do not tell the same city:
- Place de la Comédie poster: the opera house, the Three Graces, the shell-shaped square.
- Saint-Clément aqueduct poster: the Peyrou arches lined up against the sky.
- Écusson poster: narrow lanes, private mansions, the pale stone of the old centre.
- Montpellier map or city plan poster: the shield-shaped centre, the boulevards, the tram in line.
- Contemporary Montpellier poster: Antigone, white architecture, flat colour areas.
- Languedoc and Montpellier poster: garrigue, vines, sea, a southern palette.
The filters on the left narrow things down by dominant colour, by style and by mood.
Where should you hang a Montpellier poster?
- Living room: the aqueduct or the square in a large size, alone above the sofa.
- Office: a graphic composition, frank and calm beside the screen.

Tip: a row of repeated arches takes a large size very well. The wider the image, the more the rhythm of the arches reads.

- The old holds the stone: arches, mansions, lanes, soft shadow.
- The contemporary holds white and colour: Antigone, the tram, frank shapes.
- On a classic wall, stone agrees with a wooden frame without effort.
- In a pared-back interior, the contemporary version holds alone and takes a large size.

All three words mean the same thing here: a printed image that you hang on the wall. We say poster because we print on fine art paper, not on canvas or metal.
- With frame: black, white, oak or walnut, assembled and ready to hang.
- Without frame: the sheet alone, to slide into the frame you already have.
