Posters motorcycle

Motorcycle as seen by our artists: the chrome tank, the cafe racer on the straight and the grain of asphalt on the circuit. Each poster is a personal reading of movement, hand-printed on 220 gsm art paper with an anti-glare satin finish in our workshop in Grasse.

Choosing your motorcycle poster

Which motorcycle poster should you choose?

Motorcycles come in several registers, carried by different brands, riders and eras:

  • Vintage motorcycle poster or antique motorcycle poster: period advertising, the machine shown in profile, retro lettering.
  • Harley Davidson poster: American silhouette, chrome and leather, often in black and white.
  • Motocross poster and enduro poster: the machine mid-jump or deep in mud, a dynamic frame.
  • MotoGP poster and motorcycle racing poster: a rider committed through a curve, team colours, motion frozen still.
  • Yamaha, Ducati or Triumph poster: an identifiable model, technical lines, a palette close to the brand.
  • Black and white motorcycle poster: photographic grain, marked contrast, a quieter register for a wall that is already busy.

The filters on the left narrow things down by dominant colour, by style and by mood.

Where should you hang a motorcycle poster?

  • Living room: a large-format vintage motorcycle poster, alone on the main wall.
  • Office or workshop: a motocross poster or a motorcycle racing poster, for the energy.
  • Bedroom: a Harley Davidson or Yamaha poster in black and white, calmer than a race scene.
  • Garage: the place that welcomes an antique motorcycle poster or a brand advertisement without reserve.
  • Hallway: a series of identical sizes, several brands or several eras side by side.

Motorcycle poster in colour or in black and white?

Colour restores the identity of a team or a brand: KTM orange, Ducati yellow, Kawasaki green are recognised at a glance. Black and white erases that signature and brings the poster closer to period photography, which suits a vintage motorcycle poster or a rider's portrait better. On a wall that is already coloured, black and white calms the room; on a neutral wall, colour carries the energy of the race further.

Poster, print or picture: what is the difference?

All three words mean the same thing here: a printed image that you hang on the wall. We say poster because we print on photo paper, not on canvas or metal.

  • With frame: black, white, oak or walnut, assembled and ready to hang.
  • Without frame: the sheet alone, to slide into the frame you already have.
