Posters Bergen

Bryggen facades, harbor and mountains make up the character of Bergen. A Bergen poster evokes the Norwegian coast with colorful houses and changing maritime light. Choose a wall decoration that preserves the memory of a walk on the quays, a panorama from the heights or a trip to the fjords.

This collection has just opened. We are adding our first posters.

Bergen poster: wooden facades and Norwegian horizons

Which Bergen poster to choose?

Bergen can be recognized by its quays and the wooden facades of Bryggen. A poster of the port relates the colors of the buildings to the water, while a view from Fløyen shows the city in relief. The neighboring landscapes open towards fjords and mountains. A map of Bergen offers a more geographical design, centered on the lines of the place.

  • Bryggen poster: lined up wooden houses and warm colors for an immediately evocative urban scene.
  • Bergen port poster: quays and reflections for a wall decoration focused on water and travel.
  • Bergen panorama poster: a wider view that connects the neighborhoods to the hills and the sky.
  • Vintage Bergen poster: a stylized travel log, with solid colors and a composition readable from afar.

Color filters help balance the reds of the facades with the grays and blues of the landscape.

Where to hang a poster of Bergen?

In a living room, a port view brings depth and a warm color. A desk can accommodate a map or a drawing of the facades, alongside travel books. A bedroom lends itself to calmer horizons. Tip: a light wooden frame accompanies the character of the houses without adding too dark a tone around the poster.

The facades or the city in its landscape?

A close framing of Bryggen brings the architecture to the fore; a panorama tells the relationship between the city and the mountains. Choose according to the distance at which you will view the frame. For a duo, combine a dock scene with a relief view, maintaining common margins and color intensity.

Poster, print or picture: what is the difference?

All three words mean the same thing here: a printed image that you hang on the wall. We say poster because we print on photo paper, never on canvas. The same image is also available on a metal plate, in several sizes.

  • With frame: black, white or light oak, assembled and ready to hang.
  • Without frame: the sheet alone, to slide into the frame you already have.
