Posters Pau

Pau offers a dialogue between city, gardens and the Pyrenean horizon. Our posters explore its promenades, façades and distant mountains with a personal interpretation of Béarn. Each image is printed to order on 270 gsm semi-matte photo paper in our Fayence workshop.

This collection has just opened. We are adding our first posters.

Choosing a Pau poster and its Pyrenean horizon

Which Pau poster should you choose?

A Pau poster can focus on a monument, a promenade or the city’s relationship with the mountains. These three approaches create very different decorations, even with similar palettes.

  • Château de Pau poster: roofs, walls and gardens make an architectural subject that is immediately clear.
  • Boulevard des Pyrénées print: a promenade and a distant horizon bring depth to the picture.
  • Vintage Pau wall art: simplified shapes and blocks of colour recall the graphic language of travel.
  • Béarn poster: hills, vegetation and mountains broaden the view to the countryside around the city.

Refine your choice with the filters on the left: dominant colour, style and mood.

Where should you hang a Pau poster?

A Pyrenean landscape fits into a living room above a sideboard or sofa. A château view suits an entrance, where it provides an architectural landmark. For a study, choose a composition with space for the sky or a quiet area. In a bedroom, gardens and plant-inspired tones combine easily with natural materials.

Tip: a light frame softens a detailed architectural scene; a dark frame instead strengthens its lines and contrasts.

A city in Béarn or a gateway to the Pyrenees?

The urban approach tells the story of Pau’s promenades, façades and perspectives. The landscape approach gives the mountains emotional prominence, even when they remain distant in the image. For a pair, combine a built view with a more open panorama. This alternation creates a memory of the city and its surroundings, with more variety than a succession of monuments.

Poster, print or picture: what is the difference?

All three words mean the same thing here: a printed image that you hang on the wall. We say poster because we print on photo paper, never on canvas. The same image is also available on a metal plate, in several sizes.

  • With frame: black, white or light oak, assembled and ready to hang.
  • Without frame: the sheet alone, to slide into the frame you already have.
