Posters Stockholm
Islands, quays and facades of Gamla Stan make up the face of Stockholm. A Stockholm poster brings Nordic light into the home, from the water panorama to the map of the Swedish capital. Choose a wall decoration that evokes a walk, a stay or your attachment to the city.
This collection has just opened. We are adding our first posters.
Poster Stockholm: a capital between city and archipelago
Which Stockholm poster to choose?
Stockholm can be seen as much from its bridges as from its streets. The ocher facades of Gamla Stan provide a warm subject, while the island views further highlight the water and sky. A city hall poster favors an architectural silhouette; a map of Stockholm reveals the way in which neighborhoods are distributed around inlets.
- Gamla Stan poster: narrow streets and old facades for an urban composition full of character.
- Stockholm archipelago poster: water, vegetation and horizons for a calmer and more open atmosphere.
- Stockholm map poster: a geographical drawing, useful for recalling a neighborhood or a favorite route.
- Vintage Stockholm poster: a stylized vision of the city, inspired by the graphics of travel posters.
Then choose the palette with the filters to connect the tones of the poster to those of your interior.
Where to place a poster of Stockholm?
In a bright living room, a view of the docks is naturally combined with light furniture. An office welcomes a map or drawn architecture, while a bedroom lends itself to the landscapes of the archipelago. Tip: use a light wood frame if you want to maintain the softness of the blues; a black frame reinforces the lines of buildings and bridges.
The old town or the northern horizons?
The warm tones of Gamla Stan and the blues of water can share the same wall if their intensity remains balanced. For a duo, associate a street with a larger view, with a common format. A single poster benefits from keeping a clear point of attention, rather than bringing together all the monuments of the capital in a very dense image.
Poster, print or picture: what is the difference?
All three words mean the same thing here: a printed image that you hang on the wall. We say poster because we print on photo paper, never on canvas. The same image is also available on a metal plate, in several sizes.
- With frame: black, white or light oak, assembled and ready to hang.
- Without frame: the sheet alone, to slide into the frame you already have.
