Posters nursery

Posters designed for a nursery: gentle animals, simple shapes, pastel tones, and nothing scary at night.

Choosing the right poster

A baby's room is decorated for two people who don't look at the same thing. The adult sees the whole room from the doorway; the child, lying down, mostly sees what is low and close. The posters that work best are therefore hung lower than elsewhere, around one metre twenty from the floor, and keep shapes that stay readable up close.

Pastel tones dominate this category because they hold up under a night light: a saturated colour turns dull under warm, low light, while a powder pink or a seafoam green stay true to themselves. That's also why a poster chosen for a newborn still works at three years old.

30x40 is the most ordered format here, often hung in pairs above the changing table. Our prints are M1 certified, rated fire resistant, and printed with eco solvent inks in our workshop near Grasse.
