Choosing your Paris football poster

Which Paris football poster should you choose?

Football comes in several registers, from the PSG poster to the vintage poster, and they do not carry the same style:

  • PSG poster: the shirt, the crest, the club colours, a player's portrait.
  • PSG player poster: a piece of technique, a goal scored, a known face.
  • Parc des Princes and stadiums: architecture, stands, a wide view.
  • Vintage football: period lettering, a leather ball, old match posters.
  • Minimalist illustration: pitch, ball, the line of play reduced to essentials.
  • Match photography: action, crowd, the light of a match evening.

The filters on the left narrow things down by dominant colour, by style and by mood.

Where should you hang football decor in a bedroom?

  • Teenager's room: a player's portrait or a PSG shirt, in a large size.
  • Child's room: a simple illustration, a ball, frank colours.
  • Living room: a PSG piece or a stadium photograph, above the sofa.
  • Office: a vintage poster, more restrained, placed beside the screen.
  • Hallway: a series of three posters of the same club or the same player.

Football frame: with or without?

  • A framed PSG poster holds better in a room meant to last.
  • Unframed, it changes faster: a player who leaves, a new shirt.
  • The 50x70 takes a thin frame without crushing the wall.
  • For a series of three posters, keep the same size and the same frame from one end to the other.

Poster, print or picture: what is the difference?

All three words mean the same thing here: a printed image that you hang on the wall. We say poster because we print on photo paper, never on canvas. The same image is also available on a metal plate, in several sizes.

  • With frame: black, white or light oak, assembled and ready to hang.
  • Without frame: the sheet alone, to slide into the frame you already have.
