Posters pétanque
A jack, a few boules and the shade of trees recall games of pétanque. Our posters capture the player’s gesture as much as the atmosphere of the pitch, in personal compositions printed to order on 270 gsm semi-matte photo paper in our Fayence workshop.
This collection has just opened. We are adding our first posters.
Choosing your pétanque poster
Which pétanque poster should you choose?
A pétanque poster can tell the story of a precise gesture or the atmosphere of a game with friends. The ground, shadows and objects give the subject its decorative dimension.
- Pétanque player poster: an extended arm, stance and gaze build a scene centred on movement.
- Boules and jack print: a close composition highlights the round shapes and materials of the game.
- Provençal pétanque wall art: pale ground, trees and light evoke games in the shade on fine days.
- Vintage pétanque poster: simplified drawing and bold colours give this familiar sport graphic character.
The filters on the left let you refine the dominant colour, style and mood.
Where should you hang a pétanque poster?
A game scene enlivens a kitchen or dining corner, recalling shared moments. In the living room, a simpler composition around the boules remains easy to integrate. A study can welcome a player drawing, while a bright entrance highlights a shaded pitch landscape. A wooden frame complements palettes of sand and foliage.
Tip: avoid gathering too many Provençal signs around the image. A restrained wall gives more room to the gesture and the light.
The game, precision and time together
Pétanque wall art differs from a competition announcement: it captures a scene, an attitude or objects rather than a schedule. The composition can emphasise the player’s concentration or the calm surroundings. For a pair, a close view of boules can respond to a broader pitch scene. This change of scale brings rhythm without repeating exactly the same motif.
Poster, print or picture: what is the difference?
All three words mean the same thing here: a printed image that you hang on the wall. We say poster because we print on photo paper, never on canvas. The same image is also available on a metal plate, in several sizes.
- With frame: black, white or light oak, assembled and ready to hang.
- Without frame: the sheet alone, to slide into the frame you already have.
