Posters Pyrenees

Jagged ridges, mountain lakes and valley paths shape the Pyrenees in our posters. From graphic landforms to more contemplative landscapes, each image offers a view of the mountains, printed to order on 270 gsm semi-matte photo paper in our workshop in Fayence.

This collection has just opened. We are adding our first posters.

Decorating your walls with a Pyrenees poster

Which Pyrenees poster should you choose?

A Pyrenees poster can express the power of a ridge or the stillness of a lake. The terrain, the season and the space given to the sky profoundly change the landscape’s atmosphere.

  • Vintage Pyrenees poster: blocks of colour and clear silhouettes in the graphic spirit of travel art.
  • Mountain lake print: a mirror of water surrounded by slopes, creating a balanced, contemplative composition.
  • Pyrenean peaks wall art: rocky lines and strong contrasts give the wall character.
  • Hiking in the Pyrenees poster: a trail, a slope and a perspective that invite you onwards.

The filters on the left help you choose dominant colours, style and mood.

Where should you hang a Pyrenees poster?

In a living room, a mountain range creates visual depth above a low piece of furniture. In a study, the outline of a ridge gives the eye somewhere to rest. A valley view suits a bedroom, especially when the foreground remains soft. For an entrance, a vertical composition suggests an ascent without taking up the full width of the wall.

Tip: leave space around the peaks. A frame squeezed between two shelves reduces the sense of openness that makes a mountain landscape appealing.

Summer mountains or snow-covered terrain?

Green pastures and blue lakes create a lively mood connected with summer walks. Snow simplifies shapes and highlights blue-tinted shadows. A black-and-white Pyrenees poster places greater emphasis on the structure of the rocks. To combine several views, choose either a shared season or the same graphic treatment: that common thread is enough to keep the series coherent.

Poster, print or picture: what is the difference?

All three words mean the same thing here: a printed image that you hang on the wall. We say poster because we print on photo paper, never on canvas. The same image is also available on a metal plate, in several sizes.

  • With frame: black, white or light oak, assembled and ready to hang.
  • Without frame: the sheet alone, to slide into the frame you already have.
