Hossegor Posters
Between pines, dunes and the Atlantic, Hossegor inspires a poster that captures both the energy of surfing and the calm of the saltwater lake. Waves, ocean beaches and Basque-Landes villas make up three possible styles for this collection, printed to order in our workshop in Fayence, on 270g semi-matte photo paper.
This collection has just opened. We are adding our first posters.
Hossegor Poster: Landes, Ocean and Saltwater Lake
Which Hossegor Poster to Choose
Between the ocean and the shores of the saltwater lake, Hossegor offers contrasting atmospheres. Colour and style filters let you narrow down the mood you're after.
- A bold surf scene, a breaking wave, a silhouette in the foam, for a dynamic, graphic poster
- A pared-back ocean beach, horizon line, sand and sky, for a soothing effect despite the marine subject
- The saltwater lake and its calm reflections, lined with pines, for a softer, more woodland feel
- A Basque-Landes villa, timber framing and steep roof, to root the scene in its architecture
- A view of wooded dunes, pines facing the ocean, to bring both landscapes together in a single composition
Where to Hang It
Match the movement of the image to the rhythm of the room you're decorating.
- Living room: ocean beach or pine dunes, in 50x70 or 70x100 format to make a statement on the wall
- Bedroom: saltwater lake or Basque-Landes villa, in soft tones suited to rest
- Entryway or hallway: surf scene in 30x40, a compact, dynamic format
- Office: a Landes architecture view for a subtle local touch
Tip: choose a wide view of the lake as a 100x140 polyptych to spread its reflections across four panels.
Ocean or Saltwater Lake
Do you prefer the intensity of the ocean or the quiet of the saltwater lake? Both tell the same story of the Landes region, but with opposite temperaments: one facing the open sea and the rhythm of the waves, the other folded into its wooded shores and stillness.
Some interiors favour one mood, others play with complementarity by combining both in the same room. Observing the natural light on the wall in question helps decide: a brightly lit wall highlights the marine contrast, while a dimmer corner welcomes the muted tones of the lake and pines.
Poster, print or picture: what is the difference?
All three words mean the same thing here: a printed image that you hang on the wall. We say poster because we print on photo paper, never on canvas. The same image is also available on a metal plate, in several sizes.
- With frame: black, white or light oak, assembled and ready to hang.
- Without frame: the sheet alone, to slide into the frame you already have.
