Choosing your pink poster

Which pink poster should you choose?

  • Powder pink poster: a soft shade, a blurred effect, no hard contrast.
  • Flamingo poster: a graphic silhouette, tied to tropical moods.
  • Pink flower and peony poster: a botanical close-up, dense petals.
  • Guns N' Roses poster: an album sleeve, a concert image, rock culture.
  • La vie en rose poster: a quotation or a portrait, in the spirit of French song.
  • Rose gold poster: a metallic, warm tone, close to copper.

The filters on the left narrow things down by dominant colour, by style and by mood.

Where should you hang a pink poster?

  • Bedroom: a powder or pale pink, calming above the bed.
  • Living room: a flamingo or a floral composition in a large size.
  • Dressing room: a rose gold poster, close to materials and jewellery.
  • Office: a Guns N' Roses poster or a la vie en rose, a personal note.
  • Entrance: a series of pink flowers, setting the tone from the door.

Pale pink or bright pink?

  • Pale, powder pink agrees with a light wall and lets the room breathe.
  • Bright pink or red-pink imposes itself as a focal point, to be isolated rather than repeated.
  • On a white wall both work; on a wall that already carries colour, choose the tone closest to the wall.
  • The 50x70 suits floral compositions, the 30x40 portraits and quotations.

Poster, print or picture: what is the difference?

All three words mean the same thing here: a printed image that you hang on the wall. We say poster because we print on photo paper, never on canvas. The same image is also available on a metal plate, in several sizes.

  • With frame: black, white or light oak, assembled and ready to hang.
  • Without frame: the sheet alone, to slide into the frame you already have.
