Vichy posters

Vichy calls to mind an elegant spa town: parks lining the Allier, riverside walks and Belle Époque architecture with ornate pavilions. Our posters render these themes in calm compositions, ideal for refined wall decor. Printed to order in our workshop in Fayence, on 270g semi-matte photo paper.

This collection has just opened. We are adding our first posters.

Vichy poster: spa town elegance along the Allier

Which Vichy poster to choose

Vichy offers several visual styles that let you match the poster to the mood you want. Colour and style filters help you refine your selection.

  • Views of the thermal parks, with their shaded paths and manicured greenery
  • Compositions around the Allier and its banks, for a peaceful atmosphere
  • Park kiosks and galleries, graphic patterns with delicate lines
  • Belle Époque façades and pavilions, for a refined, heritage feel
  • Soft colour palettes, pastel or sepia, depending on the mood you want

Size matters too: a 30x40 works for a subtle touch, while a 50x70 or a 100x140 polyptych makes more of a statement in the room.

Where to hang a Vichy poster

Depending on the room, a Vichy poster creates a different atmosphere, from calm to character.

  • Living room: above the sofa, to set a serene, elegant tone
  • Bedroom: facing the bed, with a view of the parks or the Allier for a soothing effect
  • Office: a Belle Époque architectural view for an inspiring setting
  • Entryway: a vertical format showcasing a pavilion or gallery

Tip: pair two different sizes, such as a 21x30 and a 50x70, to create a dynamic wall without overloading the space.

Parks or architecture: which angle to choose

Choosing between a poster centred on the parks and the Allier or a composition focused on Belle Époque architecture mainly depends on the atmosphere you want. Natural views, parks, riverbanks and walkways, bring a timeless, restful softness.

Conversely, Belle Époque pavilions and façades assert a stronger, more heritage-driven character, well suited to a living room or office where you want to affirm the style of the space. The two styles pair well together if you're considering several posters on the same wall.

Poster, print or picture: what is the difference?

All three words mean the same thing here: a printed image that you hang on the wall. We say poster because we print on photo paper, never on canvas. The same image is also available on a metal plate, in several sizes.

  • With frame: black, white or light oak, assembled and ready to hang.
  • Without frame: the sheet alone, to slide into the frame you already have.
