Choosing your Leipzig poster
Which Leipzig poster should you choose?
Leipzig comes in several recognisable registers, carried by its monuments and its history:

Leipzig poster in colour or in black and white?
- Colour renders the atmosphere of a precise place: the brick red of the Völkerschlachtdenkmal, the green of the parks around Augustusplatz.
- Black and white brings out the lines of the architecture, monument or church, without the distraction of colour.
- On a wall that is already coloured, black and white calms the room.
- On a neutral wall, colour carries more of the city's identity.
Poster, print or picture: what is the difference?
All three words mean the same thing here: a printed image that you hang on the wall. We say poster because we print on photo paper, not on canvas or metal.
- With frame: black, white, oak or walnut, assembled and ready to hang.
- Without frame: the sheet alone, to slide into the frame you already have.
