Yellow posters
Yellow as seen by our artists: suns, golds, mimosas and luminous ochres. The colour that wakes up a room. Each poster is hand-printed on 220 gsm art paper with a satin anti-glare finish in our studio in Grasse.
Choosing the right poster
Yellow is the brightest colour and the hardest to live with day to day. This section runs from pale straw yellow to golden yellow, taking in mustards and lemon shades along the way.
Muted yellows, mustard and ochre, work well in a living room or bedroom without becoming tiring. Bright yellows are best kept for transitional spaces, hallways and corridors, or children's bedrooms. A single yellow poster per room is almost always the right amount.
It's also the colour that fades fastest in the light. Our eco solvent inks hold up better over time than dye based inks, but yellow is still yellow: avoid a wall in direct sunlight.
