Choosing your tram poster

Which tram poster to choose?

The tram comes in several styles, shaped by the history of urban transport, and they don't suit the same wall:

  • Vintage tram poster: old-style advertisement, compact typography, sepia or pastel tones.
  • Tram and rails in perspective: the line runs toward the horizon, the vanishing point structures the image.
  • Tram at night: yellow lights, reflections on wet cobblestones, a hushed and quiet urban atmosphere.
  • Tram and city facades: cobbled street, historic architecture, the tram's silhouette in the foreground.
  • Black and white tram poster: sharp contrast, tight framing, a timeless style that outlasts trends.

Tram poster or train poster?

The tram runs through the city, among facades and pedestrians: it carries an urban register, often tinged with nostalgia, with its visible rails on the ground and its compact build. The train belongs to another world, that of stations, platforms and vast spaces crossed at speed. For a wall that evokes the street, the cobblestones and neighbourhood architecture, the tram suits better than a locomotive or a station platform.

Poster, print or artwork: what's the difference?

The three words here describe the same thing: a printed image that you hang on the wall. We call it a poster because we print on photo paper, never on canvas. The same image is also available on a metal plate, in several sizes.
