A drawn view of the principality: the city is rendered in fine pencil on a cream ground, with buildings reduced to white volumes and grids of windows, and a marina and pontoons filled with schematic sailing boats. A few blocks of colour, yellow ochre, brick red and washed-out blue, sit as offset rectangles over the line work, like misregistered print trials. A mass of dark trees, cypresses and pines, occupies the foreground on the left and counterbalances the blue expanse of the sea on the right. Long free lines cross the whole sheet and evoke cables or masts. The whole thing belongs more to an architect's sketch than to photography, with no lettering at all.

An abstract composition on the theme of architecture and travel, in Monaco. Mainly beige and grey, a rich, busy composition. It suits Mediterranean interiors. Hang it in a home office and in a living room: this art print stands alone or in a gallery wall. Also in our City collection.
