A thick-walled stone bowl rests on a dark shelf, its grainy matter rendered brushstroke by brushstroke. In front of it, an ecru cloth falls in heavy folds, crossed by a single black seam. Behind, the wall is composed of rectangles painted over one another, grey, ivory, slate, with two mustard squares and a washed-out brick panel. A black cord comes down from the top of the frame and stops at a simple knot. The matter is dry throughout, the brush letting the weave show.

A painting, abstract in feel. Mainly grey, beige and brown, lifted with red and yellow. It suits Japandi interiors. This poster works as wall art in a living room and in a kitchen.
