Iceland Posters

Iceland offers dramatic contrasting landscapes: dark volcanic terrain, powerful waterfalls and black sand beaches swept by ever-changing seasonal light. Our posters, from raw mineral scenery to softer views, are printed to order in our workshop in Fayence, on 270g semi-matte photo paper.

This collection has just opened. We are adding our first posters.

Iceland Poster: Mineral Landscapes and Nordic Light for Your Home

Which Iceland poster should you choose?

A poster with volcanic terrain, dark rock and raw textures, sets a mineral, graphic mood. An Icelandic waterfall brings movement and a sense of power. A black sand beach plays on the contrast between dark ground and pale foam. A glacier evokes cooler, cleaner tones. A view of mountains under soft light brings more gentleness. A few search ideas:

  • Volcanic terrain Iceland poster
  • Iceland waterfall poster
  • Black sand beach poster
  • Iceland glacier poster
  • Mountain Nordic light poster

The filters on the left of the catalogue let you refine by size and tone.

Where to hang an Iceland poster?

These Nordic landscapes find their place in several rooms, depending on the intensity you're after.

  • Living room: a large volcanic terrain or waterfall poster as a centrepiece, in 50x70 or 70x100.
  • Bedroom: a softer view of mountains or ice, in 30x40, for a soothing atmosphere.
  • Office: a 21x30 format for a discreet touch without overwhelming the wall.
  • Hallway or entrance: a 100x140 polyptych, a single image split across four panels, for an immersive effect.

Tip: pair a mineral landscape with a light, neutral wall to let the contrast of textures speak for itself.

Mineral landscape or softer view?

Should you favour the raw character of volcanic terrain or the restraint of Nordic light over snow-capped mountains? The first heightens the contrasts of a sober interior. The second suits a more enveloping decor, where light takes precedence over texture. Match the landscape's tones to the materials and light of the room.

Poster, print or picture: what is the difference?

All three words mean the same thing here: a printed image that you hang on the wall. We say poster because we print on photo paper, never on canvas. The same image is also available on a metal plate, in several sizes.

  • With frame: black, white or light oak, assembled and ready to hang.
  • Without frame: the sheet alone, to slide into the frame you already have.
